Welcome to Gyldendal Harbour
We hope you’ll enjoy your stay – whether you arrive by sea or by land. Gyldendal Harbour is a private marina located in the south-western part of Salling. Beautifully situated on the shores of Venø Bay, the harbour offers easy access to scenic day trips to nearby ports, including a lovely route around the island of Venø.
The harbour is well laid out with floating pontoons, stern posts or Y-booms, and several alongside berths. There is also a slipway for launching trailer boats. The harbour is accessible both day and night.
Visiting boats are welcome to use the Gyldendal Boat Club’s clubhouse and all surrounding facilities, including picnic tables, barbecue terraces, shelters, and of course, the toilets. A dedicated area is also available for motorhomes, which are naturally welcome to use all the facilities as well.
There are plenty of walking opportunities in the surrounding countryside and holiday home area. Take a stroll to the newly established lake nearby – the view over the lake, harbour and fjord is fantastic. You’ll also find one of the fjord’s best viewpoints at Restaurant Gyldendal. Just south of the harbour is a lovely, child-friendly beach with free showers and toilets only 25 metres away. North of the harbour, Gyldendal Kayak Club has its own clubhouse, where sea kayaks are available for rent.
